“I finally figured how to stand out and do things differently. I got what I wanted on the first day!”
I think one of the biggest things is how to stand out, how to do things differently. I’ve been in the marketing industry for a very very long time. And I think, after a while, there’s no ability for you to do something different. Everyone is doing the same thing. I’ve gone from one seminar to another and everyone’s telling you to do this, do that. I’ve applied all that but I still don’t see the kind of results that I want.
There’s just so many. If there was one thing, I really feel that X-Factor Marketing breaks the boundaries of what I understood of marketing. So if you will ask me if there was one thing, I would say that it’s the theme: to stop thinking the way you thought before and be open that things can be done absolutely differently and still get the results that you want.
We’re at the half day mark of the last day and just from that, I believe I can already double or triple my business.
I like the fact that Mel is a no bullshit person: he says it as it is. That’s something very important to me. I’ve come to learn three days of my time is a lot. It’s time away from my business, from my family. So when I’m here, I just want to know what is it. And he’s straight to the point and that’s something I appreciate about him.
I think because I’ve been in too many seminars, I’ve been very disappointed. I leave thinking, “I knew this stuff.” Or the sale, the preview, and what I got did not match. And so I did come in with that sort of mindset, “Will I learn, in the three days that I have invested, will I walk out of here and really get the results that I want?”
Absolutely. It’s called X-Factor Marketing and the average person would think, “You know I’m not in marketing so I won’t attend.” But this is a course anyone can benefit from. It helps you think about what you stand for, how you’re different: not in a cliche way but in a true way. And I think the most important thing is that it brings you closer to being happy.
I’m just so thankful that I chose to take that leap of faith. It was scary because three days is a long time and I’m just so grateful that I made that decision and I’m here.
