Coming here, I realized alot more about my inner worth and my understanding of my own self-esteem, which is giving myself a glass ceiling in terms of how much more I can charge and is not really congruent with the value that I provide. 
 
So going through today, I understood more about how to overcome that. How to set myself on the right mindset, and how to value my services tangibly so that I believe that my value is worth that amount – another set of mindset shift that I would take back and implement. I’m quite sure that down the road, I will be able to charge like 4 to 5 times more.

WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE BEFORE ATTENDING X-FACTOR MASTERCLASS?

One of the biggest hurdles that I want to overcome is to find the clients that are willing to invest in marketing and willing to work together to create success for the business.

WHAT’S YOUR BIGGEST TAKEAWAY?

The mindset shift thing in terms of having, creating, success for the client as the main objective. And finding the right type of partner or clients that I can partner with and work together to create success. Because in the past, I’ve always been thinking in a way that I have to serve the clients. But actually, we are creating success together and we have to co-create this together. 
 
Setting the standards is also one of the ways in getting the right kind of clients. Because setting the standards is like setting the ground rules of how we should be working together. And moving forward, I think it’s a matter of whether the client is willing to adapt to the ground rules, or we just don’t work together.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE MOST ABOUT MEL AND JO?

I think through this three days, I’ve gotten a better sense of how authentic both Mel and Jo are. They are very direct and candid about sharing whatever they have. In all the knowledge imparted, no holds barred. I can see how whatever is being shared in these three days, is being utilized in how they do the marketing for Marshall Thurber and Mark Joyner.
 
[They are] just very authentic, very new. And I love the energy that both of them give out.

WHAT WERE THE CONCERNS/SKEPTICISMS YOU HAD BEFORE ATTENDING THIS MASTERCLASS?

There’s not much skepticism. The only thing is on whether what you are delivering is what I need or not.

I think strategies and techniques are everywhere. There are so many strategies and techniques that so many trainers and gurus out there are teaching. But they may not always be applicable to every scenario. Which is why I believe learning mindsets and learning principles allows me to adopt the right kind of strategies and techniques that is applicable to my scenario. It’s very difficult to teach those and to find people that teach those as well, but I think I’ve gotten that from this workshop.

DO YOU HAVE ANYTHING ELSE TO ADD?

If someone is lost and looking for an out to move up to the next level- you can be doing well in the business but you are not doing amazing, I feel that both Jo and Mel is able to provide insights, the type of coaching, and uncovering blindspots and everything to the business owner to see how he or she can really ascend to the next level. And that’s not something that can be achieved just by techniques and strategies only. It has to be something more. Because how far the business grows really depends on how the business owner thinks.
